Biography
Grace was born in Mexico City and began painting as a young girl. While growing up she took a variety of painting classes learning color and technique. Grace works mainly in oil painting, however she also paints in watercolor, pastel, and pen and ink. Grace’s main subject is nature and ocean scenes. She connects with nature in a spiritual way and expresses that feeling in her paintings.
She moved to California ten years ago and fell in love with the coastal mountains and landscapes of Central and Northern California. Grace’s undersea paintings are a journey to the deep blue sea, a vision of a mystical experience, and an awakening to the diversity and importance of marine life.
Grace has exhibited in many galleries in Mexico City since she was a young girl. In California she has participated in several exhibitions at venues in San Mateo County and Pacifica California. Grace’s goal is to keep growing as an artist and to expand her career in the art world.
